TTI’s Exhaust Pipes or also know as head pipes are designed to many stock manifolds.  The manifold casting numbers are required off of each manifold to ensure the correct pipe bend necessary for your application.  Click here for a complete list of manifolds that TTI has designed Exhaust Pipes too.

When ordering Exhaust pipes it is important to supply the following information . . .
1.  Engine size
2.  Automatic or Manual Transmission
3.  Drivers-side manifold casting number
4.  Passenger-side manifold casting number

TTI H-pipes are made from 16 gauge aluminized tubing, mandrel bent, swedged and notched on the inlet-end.  Designed with a 2.5” width adjusting crossover tube to allow the maximum flow of exhaust gases.

 •  H-pipes do not directly bolt-up to stock manifolds, exhaust pipes required.
 •  H-pipes do not directly bolt-up to headers, header adapters required.
 •  H-pipe assemblies supplied with 5 clamps

The TTI “X” Pipe crossover design improves power and sound tone, compared to traditional H-pipe designs.  Made from 16 gauge aluminized tubing, mandrel bent and designed with width adjusting slip-connectors for
ease of installation.

 •  “X” pipes do not directly bolt-up to stock manifolds, exhaust pipes required.
 •  “X” pipes do not directly bolt-up to headers, header adapters required.
 •  Includes 6 heavy-duty clamps
 •  Welding the width adjusting slip-connectors is recommended once the X-pipe has been properly aligned.

have hangers welded in place on tailpipe.  Designed as a bolt-on connection
for ease of installation.
Finish off your tailpipes with a pair of TTI stainless steel tips.

Header Adapters are required if you are not running a TTI Header to a TTI Exhaust System. When ordering headers, the
header make and model number will be required.  
• Application Note:  Header Adapters by TTI were designed utilizing new unmodified Hooker, Hedman & Thorley Headers
 to mate with TTI exhaust systems.  Precision tooling-fixtures are used to insure exact replication of each different adapter.  
 Should your adapter not fit your header properly due to a manufacturing variation in your particular header, it will be
 necessary to modify the adapter to fit your particular header variation.
•  If TTI does not have the correct Header Adapters for your header application or if you do not know what brand of header
 is on your car, you will need to custom fabricate your own adapters from the headers to the H-pipe or X-pipe using our
Universal Adapter Kit.  Header Adapters and Universal Adapter Kits are sold separately.

Pipe bends vary depending on manifolds. When ordering, the manifold casting numbers off of each manifold will be required to ensure that you are supplied with the correct bend necessary for your application. 70-74 E-body applications equipped with a 4-speed Transmission will require a 70-72 style reverse shifter linkage rod to clear the 2.5” or 3” H-pipe or X-pipe.  Reverse Shifter Linkage Rods can be purchased from Brewer’s Performance Inc. of Ludlow Falls, OH. (937) 698-4259  P/N: LR854.
