EXHAUST SYSTEM COMPONENT PARTS

Our performance exhaust component parts are designed and fabricated in-house using sophisticated CNC machinery and mandrel bent for a precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow.  Exhaust components are constructed of 16 gauge aluminized tubing to resist heat and corrosion damage.

 

 

 

Exhaust-pipes shown on mfd's for reference purpose only.  We do not sell or manufacture manifolds.

EXHAUST-PIPES   (aka: Head-pipes)

  • Made of 16 gauge aluminized tubing, mandrel bent, no crimped tubes.

  • 1/2" heavy-duty flanges, 1/16" gaskets, if applicable.

  • Flat-flanged manifolds include 2-bolt gaskets & mounting hardware.

  • Ball-socket manifolds include 2-bolt floating flange & mounting hardware, no gaskets.

Header Reducer/Adapters:  An exhaust system from Headers-back will required header reducers or header adapters to transition the headers to an exhaust system.  When ordering, we will required the header make, header model no. & collectors size.  Reducer/Adapters sold separately.

340 Mfd #2863549:  A 90 oil filter adapter is required when using the passenger-side manifold.

Dana-60 rear:  Tailpipes will not fit A, B & E-body applications with the RMS Street-Lynx rear suspension with a Dana-60 rear.  However, tailpipes will fit a Dana-60 rear-end with the factory suspension leaf springs.

63-66 A-body Transmission Crossmember:  Modification will be required to the stock transmission crossmember to allow clearance
for the dual exhaust system.  [See sheet #506 for modification template]

Auto Trans:  Applications with a 3-section throttle rod will require modification to the bell-crank & pivot shaft.  [See illustration sheet #101]

Note:  Exhaust systems are made from 16 gauge aluminized tubing and does not require coating.  Ceramic coating options are available as an option/personal preference.  Ceramic coating provides additional protection, performance & longevity.
