HEADER FEATURES

1-5/8" O.D. Primary Tubes / 1-3/4" Secondary Tubes

3.0" Collectors

3/8" thick Flanges, laser-cut, contoured for a leak free fit

Step design:  Provides low-end response and top-end horsepower gain

Under chassis design:  Above the steering center link design offers maximum header to ground clearance

Full length header design:  Proven power gains vs. shorty design

Recommended Horsepower:  320-575

Torsion bar removal:  Not required.  The drivers-side #7 tube is designed to be removed to slip around the torsion bar

Header Material:  Constructed of 16 gauge mild steel tubing.  Mandrel bent on sophisticated computer controlled bending machines for precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow. The mandrel bending process maintains a constant inside diameter of the tube for a smoother finish with no restriction of flow and no crimping of the tubes.

HEADER FITMENT...

  Due to various manufacturing designs, aftermarket parts, engine configurations, suspension combinations, etc... TTi cannot ensure headers and exhaust systems to fit all combinations.  However, we have done our best to accommodate both factory and aftermarket component combinations.  In some cases, slight modification or repositioning may be required on your part to clear the specific situation.

1.  Platform:

67-76 A-BODY, 62-79 B-BODY, 70-74 E-BODY 76-80 F-BODY and 77-88 M-BODY

2.  A/LA Engine sizes:

273*, 318*, 340, 360, 402 crate, 408 MAGNUM CRATE, 440 SUPER COMMANDO CRATE

*273-318 Small-port cylinder heads, with the port diameter of 1.09w x 1.55h, will require modification to the ports for our headers to seal properly.  Additional material will be added to the ports for headers to seal properly.  Modification will be done prior to coating.

Headers were designed to fit with the engines located to the factory specifications.  If the engine is not located correctly in the chassis, the headers will not fit properly.  We strongly suggest you check your engine location prior to installation. 

3.  Cylinder heads:

OEM, EDELBROCK PERFORMER RPM, INDY-TA, MOPAR PERF ALUM, MOPAR PERF CAST-IRON, RHS-INDY360X

4.  Spark Plugs:

STRAIGHT or ANGLED

5.  Front Suspension:

OEM with torsion bars / COILOVER without torsion bars (RMS Alterktion, Magnumforce XRT Tubular K-frame or Control Freak)

Steering Linkage:  OEM with torsion bars or Rack & Pinion without torsion bars.

Headers will not clear UniSteer Performance Rack and Pinion.

67-76 A-body applications:  Headers will not clear Firm Feel fast ratio pitman & idler arm.  The Firm Feel arm is 3/4" longer than the stock arm.  (The OEM arm measures 5-1/4" from center to center)

Keisler Tremec TKO-500/600 Transmission:  Correct installation is imperative.  The output-end of the tail shaft must be in exactly the same position as the stock transmission output shaft for the headers to fit properly.

  Evacuation tubes and EGT probe fittings can be installed prior to coating headers.  Installation of these options are considered a "Special-Order".  Please allow an additional 3-4 weeks for the special order work and the coating process.
