Our performance exhaust component parts are designed and fabricated in-house using sophisticated CNC machinery and mandrel bent for a precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow.  Exhaust components are constructed of 16 gauge aluminized tubing to resist heat and corrosion damage.

 

1.  EXHAUST-PIPES   (aka: Head-pipes)

• Made of 16 gauge aluminized tubing, mandrel bent, no crimped tubes.

• 1/2" heavy-duty flanges, 1/16" gaskets, if applicable.

• Flat-flanged manifolds include 2-bolt gaskets & mounting hardware.

• Ball-socket manifolds include 2-bolt floating flange & mounting hardware, no gaskets.

HEADER ADAPTERS ARE REQUIRED TO TRANSITION HEADERS TO THE EXHAUST SYSTEM: If running a TTi Header, you may already have the correct size header reducers or header adapters that were supplied with the headers. If running headers other than TTI's, you must custom fabricate adapters between the header collectors & the inlet of the exhaust mid-section for fitment & alignment. We offer a Universal Header Adapter Kit which includes all material necessary for the fabrication, sold separately.  Note, cutting & welding will be required.

67-76 A-BODY / STANDARD TRANS applications using 340-360 manifold casting #2863549, will require a 90-degree oil filter adapter.

FN10

RMS STREET-LYNX REAR SUSPENSION w/ a DANA-60:  Tailpipes will not fit applications using the RMS Street-Lynx rear suspension with a Dana-60 rear.  However, tailpipes will fit a Dana-60 rear-end with the factory suspension leaf springs.

63-66 A-BODY TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER:  Modification will be required to the stock transmission crossmember to allow clearance
for the dual exhaust system.  [See sheet #506 for modification template]

67-76 A-BODY / AUTO TRANS applications with a 3-section throttle rod may require modification to the bell-crank & pivot shaft.  [See illustration sheet #101]

FN57

RELOCATED LEAF SPRINGS:  Tailpipes will not fit 62-76 A-body, 62-67 B-body & 65-73 C-body applications if the leaf springs have been moved inboard.  However, clearance can be achieved using a Fuel Cell and Mufflers with the same side inlet & outlet to move the tailpipe inward.

HEMI HOT AIR TUBE NIPPLE:  A heat tube nipple can be installed in the passenger-side exhaust pipe.  When ordering add part #MISC-HTEP

Allow 4-6 weeks for coating process of the complete exhaust system.

Note:  Exhaust systems are made from 16 gauge aluminized tubing and does not require coating.  However, ceramic coating options are available as an option/personal preference.  Ceramic coating provides additional protection & longevity.
