HEADER FITMENT • Our headers were designed to fit with the engines located to the factory specifications.  If the engine is not located correctly in the chassis, the headers will not fit properly.  We strongly suggest you check your engine location prior to installation.  (Click here for the factory dimensions) • Due to various manufacturing designs, aftermarket parts, engine configurations, suspension combinations, etc... TTi cannot ensure headers and exhaust systems to fit all combinations.  However, we have done our best to accommodate both factory and aftermarket component combinations.  In some cases, slight modification or repositioning may be required on your part to clear the specific situation.

1.  Platform:	66-74 B-BODY and 70-74 E-BODY • Hemi blocks with 440-RB mount ears will require modification to the casting on the driver-side.  Approximately 3/8” of the material must be removed to clear the header tube and a fabricated steel mount will be required
2.  Engine Size:	426 HEMI, 472-crate, 528-crate  (We do not make any headers for the Early 392 Hemi blocks) • Headers fit with Schumacher Creative Services engine mounts or equivalent (OEM).
3.  Cylinder Heads:	OEM EDELBROCK STAGE 5 (Low-port) INDY-426SR
4.  Front Suspension:	OEM or Equivalent, retaining torsion bars • UniSteer Performance Rack and Pinion:  Headers will not clear. • Firm Feel Inc Fast Ratio Pitman & Idler Arm:  Headers will not clear.  The FFI arm is 3/4" longer than the stock arm.  The OEM arm measures 5-1/4" from center to center.
5.  Auto Trans:	YES  • Floor Shift:  Some applications with an auto transmission may require the adjustable swivel & the lower rod to be re-positioned to clear the header collector, see illustration sheet #3703 • Keisler Auto Trans:  Applications using the Keisler Auto Trans with the 5/8" spacer must use a PowerMaster XS Torque starter 9523.
6.  Standard Trans:	YES • Clutch Linkage:  OEM • Keisler Tremec TKO-500/600 Transmission:  It is imperative that the output end of the tail shaft is in exactly the same position as the stock transmission output shaft for the headers to fit properly.
7.  Floor Shift:	YES   • Auto Trans:  Some applications with an auto transmission may require the adjustable swivel & the lower rod to be re-positioned to clear the header collector, see illustration sheet #3703
8.  Column Shift:	NO • DIY alternative:  Modify your shift linkage to achieve clearance. TTi does not make a linkage to satisfy this situation.
9.  Push Button:	N/A
10.  Manual Steering:	YES
11.  Power Steering:	YES • Also clears Borgeson power-steering
12.  Air Conditioning:	YES
13.  Starters:	The following MINI STARTERS have been fit-checked with these headers and found there to be no clearance issues... • Chrysler part no's:  R53005984, 56027702AC • Mopar Performance part no's:  P5249644AB, P5007860, P4286522 • PowerMaster Performance XS torque starter no:  9523 (!) Keisler Auto Trans:  Applications using the Keisler Auto Transmission with the 5/8" spacer, must use a PowerMaster XS Torque starter 9523
14.  Bellhousing:	ALL • Lakewood Bellhousing scatter shield:  Modification is required to the passenger-side bell-housing.  A half moon shaped notch will need to be ground down approximately 1/4" deep to clear the header tube.
15.  Oil Filters:	OEM
16.  Oil Pans:	OEM MILODON • Milodon street & strip part no's:  30930, 30931, 31010 • Milodon road race part no's:  31580, 31581
17.  Oil Dipstick:	(!) OEM dipstick tube will not clear header. • DIY alternative:  Reshape your stock dipstick tube, see illustration sheet #502 • Milodon offers a flexible dipstick & tube - Milodon item #22070
