EXHAUST SYSTEM
DETAILS
Our performance exhaust
systems are designed and fabricated in-house using
sophisticated CNC machinery and mandrel bent for a
precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow.
Systems are constructed of 16 gauge aluminized
tubing to resist heat and corrosion damage.
Our high performance dual systems have proven to
deliver more horsepower and torque over stock size
exhaust systems while improving exhaust flow.

Exhaust-Pipes:
Manifolds-back exhaust systems will include
Exhaust-Pipes (aka Head-pipes) to bolt-up to the
manifolds. When ordering, the 7-digit casting
no's will be required.
Mid-pipe Designs:
Exhaust systems are available with either an
H-pipe or X-pipe mid-section assembly.

The H-pipe design has proven to provide
increased horsepower over the stock straight
exhaust pipes.
•
The X-pipe design has proven to improve
power and sound tone compared to the
traditional H-pipe design mid-section.

Mufflers: 70-74 E-body
exhaust systems were designed using the
Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. Our personal
preference due to the mild sound level, true
performance tone, and minimal interior resonation
noise compared to other mufflers.
When choosing to use mufflers other
than the Dynomax Super Turbo, please note that
modification may be required to the muffler slips
for proper fit and alignment due to muffler case
lengths and width differences. Modification
may include cutting, welding, notching and adding
material for additional length. Applications
using mufflers longer than systems were design with,
will require shortening the outlet end of the
mid-pipe (H-or X). Using mufflers shorter than
systems were designed with, will require adding
additional material at the inlet end of the muffler.
We offer pre-fabricated tube length extenders "Slip-Connectors"
for additional material, sold separately.

Muffler Hangers:
Heavy-duty design, mounts to the supplied muffler
hanger body brackets.
Over-Axle
Tailpipes:
•
70-74 Challenger style tailpipes are designed blunt-cut
ready to accept Challenger dual-rectangle exhaust
tips. (Tips sold separately)
•
70-74 Cuda style tailpipes are designed blunt-cut
ready to accept Cuda rectangle exhaust tips.
Tips must be welded onto the tailpipes, there is not
enough straight pipe for a slip-on style exhaust tip
to clamp onto. (Tips sold separately)
•
70-74 Turndown tailpipes with a finished angle-cut are designed
for vehicles without cut-outs in the valance panel.
Tailpipe Hanger
Receptacles: Floor pan mount design with
rubber block insulator.
Installation: Bolt-on design, no welding required.
Please read the installation instructions that are
supplied with the exhaust system. We recommend
starting the installation with the tailpipes working
towards the engine. |

Header adapters will be required to transition
Headers to an Exhaust System. TTi Headers are
supplied with adapters, however, if transitioning
the exhaust system from headers other than TTi's, a
Header
Adapter Kit will be required.
Kits include all necessary material to custom
fabricate adapters.

Bracket(s) are required
if the vehicle is not equipped for a dual exhaust
system or if the vehicle has been stripped of all
mounting brackets. The OE brackets are located
behind the rear seats and mounted directly to the

Cell and Mufflers with an offset inlet / offset
outlet.
Mufflers may require
modification to the muffler slips for proper fit and
